SAO PAULO (Reuters) – Brazil's Regional Development Ministry has received 1 billion reais ($266.30 million) to resume the housing subsidies program Minha Casa Minha Vida, presidential spokesman Otávio do Rêgo Barros said on Monday.
The allocation was authorized by Congress last month.
Rego Barros also said that President Jair Bolsonaro is "still evaluating" his son's nomination to the Brazilian embassy in Washington.
